I recently got a new HDD but its a 2.5" size. My computer has 3.5" brackets. Will i still be able to fit it in there somehow? I dont want to open the package and try because then i wouldnt be able to return it.
You probably need to get adapter brackets that bridge the gap between your drive and the screw mounts on your case.
I used to have them for mounting a 3.5in HDD into a 5.25 (dvd drive) spot.
