question about HL 1.1.1.0

HELLO EVERY ONE

i want just ask any one of you nice ppl something... i had the half life counter-strike include all games inside it...
since i update it to 1.1.1.0 i could only play the (new game) mode in half life Death match and Redemtion only....
please if any one have any idea if there another story to play in single player (new game ) and the name of the game and how to make it work for the (new game) option....i mean make it appear's to play...
