I have recently managed to find my copy of the original Duke Nukem 3D, so I went on the web and downloaded JFDuke3D and the subsequent High Resolution Pack and it brings back memories. However I have a question regarding sound problems.

At the moment I am having choppy sound, but not sure if thats related to old dos sound files playing in a vista environment, or if thats just a problem with the current build of JFDuke. However when playing the original game in Dosbox, there is no problem.

Has there been anybody else with the same problem?

Ah, the obnoxious Vista sound issue. Don't use JFDuke3D, that hasn't been updated since '05. Instead use EDuke32, it's based off JFD3D but with a lot of more features and also the later versions fix the sound issue in Vista.
To install just drop the files contained in the .ZIP file into a fresh folder together with the Duke3D.GRP file. That's it! Everyone's happy. :cheese:
