Question about lights

Does anyone have a list of what the different types of lights do?

Or if you can't post that, does anyone know what kind of light will light up all the objects in it's path, as well as create a spot on the floor? I've tried light, light_environment, and light_spot, haven't had any success with those.

What you mean... just a light that gleams at an area like a bigger flashlight?? if so you use light_spot and set it to point at where ever. Here is an example pic attached..

What I'm wondering about is light textures? Does anybody know of any of those?

Yeah, like that light spot, but whenever I use it my map ends up very dark, with only a faint light, and you can only see with nightvision on.
