Will I have to throw my GeForce 2 MX for Half-Life 2 or will the game support it?
Thanks.
I am asking because Deus-Ex 2 doesn't work on my computer.

It'll work with a TNT 2 upwards (so yes, it will work with a GF2 MX), but don't expect the graphics to be of the quality of the videos

Yep as Murray says, it'll most likely work, but you will be missing out on a lot of visual treats, but if your not too worried about that then yeah it'll work fine, then when you finally decide to upgrade to a new card, you can play it all through again and almost experience an entirely different game, visually speaking anyway.

The DX2 graphics situation has really pissed me off, they won't even let you play without Pixel Shader 1.1 (which my GF2 Ti doesn't have), this means I won't be able to play Thief 3 either since (I think) they're using the same engine. Why can't they just make pixel shading an optional graphics feature. Most mainstream PC gamers (eg. those who bought ready-made PCs) will have MX or other "budget" cards, and so won't be able to play DX2.

most budget PC's are comeing with GF3's aqnd GF4's (or Radeons Standerd cards) As there so cheap now, I could get a GF4 for about.. 50 dollors (30Pounds) from the same place companys buy them, you can get a gf2 MX GIVEIN too you, there worth NOTHING, if you see one in the shops, its 99% retail price..
