Question on displaying system time in HUD

I have looked through the cvar commands and do not see a way to display your local system time (yes actual CST time for me).

Am I missing something or does someone knowhow to make this a possibility.

Being old like I am I have a tendency to lose track of time and would simply like to have this displayed on my HUD.

Oh thanks for the help. I DO have a clock (duh), but why have other external devices when I have a $2000 clock in front of me when playing the game. The HUD is whaqt we look at so why not have the ability to simple parse system time on the HUD.

Thanks for the wise butt cracks though. I needed a "Doh!!" moment because I was too stupid to think of this for myself.

Serioulsy - would it not seem an easy task to either create a skin/mod that would throw a clock on the screen? Or to simply display it just like we do FPS etc.....

Is this not a common sense thing?

There is probably a way you could use a third party program to grab the system time and then display it on the screen similarly to how a hack does. I went through the cvars list and couldn't find anything that has anything to do with system time. It might be wise to post this in one of the source editing / development forums.

and i doubt there will

servers will get mods like in 1.6 where u can say thetime or whattime etc
