question on the video card drivers

Hi all, i'm new here, nice to meet you all.
I have ax800pro video card by Asus (heard it's good for hl2).
should i download and install the driver from Asus or ATI ?
My computer:
p4 3.2e (CPU)
p4c800e-deluxe (MB)
2 gig pc3200 (Memory)
ax800pro (Graphic Card)
Also, is x800xt pe A LOT better than the PRO one or?

Get the driver from ATI.

They are the same but the ones direct from ATI will be newer versions probably.

the xt pe is quite a bit better, though the pro will still be awesome.

but definently get the drivers from the ati site, as mitch2891 they will be updated.

btw, y do u have 2 gig or ram?? it just slows ur PC :\
u'll be fine with only 1 gig (2X512 or 4X256)... learned it from Asus :angel:

I learned that too, but it was to late at that time. *sigh*

Guys, no.

512x4 = Bad
1024x2 = Really Good. (Won't slow your RAM speeds)

guys.. i have to say that i really wasted $200 on that 1 gig of ram.. really. it doesn't help at all. the only difference is i can run warcraft3, diablo2exp and cs source at the same time with no lag... anyway i will build another system at xmas with that new x800xt pe graphic card and amd setup(never tried amd before) and use that gig of ram on the new system...

by the way, should i remove the new pair of ram?
