Questions on next-gen cards

I've been out of the loop for a while (before ATi came out with the new versions of the X800 like the XL and the X850 series) and I just wanted to know what is known about the next-gen cards, the G70 and the R520. I've seen some specs and stuff from googling but I wanted to ask everyone here about them. I wanted to know when they're supposed to be coming out, how much they'll cost, and if the graphics will be as good as the Xbox 360. I realize maybe some of those questions are not known yet but I want to be up to date.

well the G70 is suppose to be released within next week or so and teh gfx will be similar to the xbox 360 but u prob. wont c any of those kinds of gfx in games intil the end of the year and there isnt much news on the r520s release date all we have are the specs of it but ive seen that it has 32 pixel piplines instead of 24 like the G70

So they're not going to be the usual with the best costing about $500, then $400 for the next best such as the X800XT and X800 Pro when they came out?
