quick config question

yo i keep changing my config and whenever i go to play it seems to change itself back to default

why does it do this its kinda pissing me off now

i putting in stuff like

cl_smooth 0

changing my rates etc annoying as **** to have 2 change them everytime i play

Make sure config.cfg in your HL2 directory is not set to read-only. However, by doing this, certain rouge admins can change your settings. Best is to make it non read only, set the rates to what you want, save them, close CSS/HL2 and turn config.cfg back to read only
