Quick CS question

Really quick - when is CS 1.6 out on general release ie: Not through Steam?

Errr what does this have to do with HL2??!! This needs to be in the OFF-TOPIC FORUM! Anyways, I believe CS CZ will really be "CS 1.6" But, I'm not sure.

Sorry - my bad.
But as for CS 1.6 I know it will be downloadable separately to CZ because most of the magazine reviews have said stuff along the lines of: "It's ok but the best part is the free part. Don't buy it."

CS 1.6 will integrate all the new features that CZ adds to CS multiplayer. There will be a few new weapons and some new team classes. CS 1.6 will be taken out of beta stages upon the release of CZ.
Then again as CS 1.6 BETA is getting more and more popular, the next version might be CS 1.7.
