Quick Fix: Firefox Security Flaw

The Mozilla team have released instructions on how to fix a security flaw with the Firefox browser (and all Mozilla products). Basically it involves turning off IDN by going to your About:config, finding the network.enableIDN item and setting it to False.
 
thanks for the info joule, will change this when I get home. On on teh whole "firefox sucks" theme, at least they released the patch/information within 6 months of them finding the bug unlike microsoft
 
What's with these firefox haters? I thought we all hated microsoft.
Maybe we hate both and we should come up with a HL2.net internet broswer.
 
Mine was already set to False.

Firefox 1.0.4 on Fedora Core 4

I better see about updating it actually :P I'm 2 versions out of date
