Quick lightning question...

Hello.

I got this wierd problem. Been working on a map for a while, wich is dark, like in the middle of the night. The lightning were just fine, utnil, somehow, when I was about to compile and test. The problem with Fullbright thingy, but i console it doesnt say "light_fullbright 1". I checked the map a hundred times, undo the last things ive done but still no result. So, what could cause this?

There is no leaks, no models outside world, there IS ligt (all kinds of lights, including light_env.).

Im going nuts.
 
In the Compile window, check whether or not you're running RAD. Make sure you're compiling with RAD enabled, otherwise the lighting isn't calculated.
 
mat_fullbright? ya mean?

i had this with a wrong gameinfo text, simple way to avoid this, is to open up the sdk menu, launch hammer, open options, and delete the configs ur not using ie counterstrike,hl2,hldm2...when u compile with an another games game info it seems to go wrong, still having problems then , makes sure ur paths are correct
 
Just compiled it again, and same problem. RAD is runnigs.

insertcoins: I only have the HL2DM cfg, so, shouldnt be any problems. Never changed the cfg either. The wierd thing is that it just went like that in a second.

apart from the rad not selected or not doing its job, i cant see any other problems, u may want to check ur listenserver.cfg for commands

and u may also wanna hide the steam account name email in ur last post

we dont allow people to edit messages after 15 minutes, otherwise it gets abused, and it doesn't, not gonna argue if it does or not, cause it does.

Ok. Is there any chance you can make a exepction? I mean, you know why, and i dont se any problems if you edit my post and (you can delete the whole compile text).

That would be really nice.
