This may just be opinion or not but which is better. E6750, or 6400+ X2?
This is a guess, and a very safe one - The E6750. The E6600 for example is only rivalled by AMD's 6000+ X2 processor.

Current generation AMD procs are pretty much in the stone-age, Intel has better mid and high-end options by far.

The performance is going to be pretty similar but the E6750 will be on top most of the time. In programs where the 6400+ is ahead (few) I really don't think it is by very much either. E6750 is only like $10 more too, no price advantage for AMD there.
