Quick Question: Floors

Hey I don't know if this is a stupid question or not, I apologise if it is :(, but I want to know how like in the trainstation in Half Life 2 the floor had that shiney effect to it. Any info please I've just started learning hammer and whilst I think I've been doing quite well on my own somethings I can't figure out. THanks.
 
you'll need to add an env_cubemap entity(try about eye-height above the floor)..
then when you launch the map for the first time, open the console and type buildcubemaps, which will make it work from then on.
