Quick Save Message missing???

When I hit F6 for a Quick Save.. I don't get any message that says the save was done..

My friend says he gets the message on his screen when he does a quick save....

Is anybody else having this problem? Is there a way to fix this??

We are both running nvidia based cards..

I had this problem but after restarting the computer and steam everything worked for some reason. If that didn´t fix the issue you can check if the saves display normally after starting a new game.

I have this problem too, the chapter text doesn't show up either (ie "Chapter 2: A Red Letter Day" text doesnt appear when the chapter starts).

Rebooting/starting a new game doesn't fix it for me. It used to show properly but I've recently bought a new hard drive and setup winxp again, all same drivers and stuff too...

There are chapter names???? I didn't even know that....
Rebooting hasn't helped me either..

I hope somebody comes out with a fix.
