curently i have abit ic7 max3 with pc2700 ram 2x 512 dual
and p4 2,6 ghz 400 fsb 26x mp @ 125 =3250mhz
before if had a msi 865pe neo2 wich died max oc i reached was 3,6 ghz on 1,9000 vcore on air
quistion is will i reach higher if it ran a lot cooler
and why do i need so high vcore to reach 3,6 ghz
is't because my air cooler is rated for 3,6 ghz
should it run cooler to get higher ?
or do i need new cpu to reach higher ?
btw next month i'm gone get water cooling koolance
i known tubing size is small but already got waterblocks for free
and planning to use them actualy.
only problem i got is my abit ic7 max3 reports wrong tempture for cpu idle 50c in bios wich is imposible
and i wish i could fix the temp sensor
another quistion is a 80wat waterblock enough for my 9800xt
friend off mine had x800 had 30c idle i curently have 60c idle on stock air cooling and core = 39c idle
and p4 2,6 ghz 400 fsb 26x mp @ 125 =3250mhz
