X-bit Labs reports that ATI's new lineup of GPUs have passed PCI-SIG certification and are in production ready form.

HOORAY!

Not that I plan to get one, but i'm really excited to see how they measure up to the 7800gtx's.

Hopefully these really are the "next gen" gpu's we were waiting for, and not the extremely well performing yet not what I was expecting 7800gtx's.
