Radeon 9550 Not working

I have a friend who has purchased a Radeon 9550, and after he puts it into his system, he turns on his computer and he gets nothing on his monitor, nothing! Just a black screen. I'm not sure what the problem is myself, That card doesnt need a molex connector (he says he cant see one). It beeps once when he puts it into his computer and starts it up. The graphics card fan spins also, so its getting power... He has a Dell Dimension 5000

Any help would be appreciated.

Tell him to plug the monitor back in.

if he has an intigrated card you will need to disable it through bios and unistall all video drivers
