Radeon 9600 Pro overclocking

I have a Built By ATI radeon 9600 Pro, ive OCd it about 20 mhz (core) and 15 mhz( memory) and it just barely improves 3dmark01 scores, how much higher do you think i can go with the stock HSF on it?

and oc'ing your processor has alot to do with it aswell. But like i said, its pointless to oc for dumb scores.

wow. That's not really overclocking.
the 9600 pro is an amazing overclocker, i usally have mine stable at 510MHz (core) 310(620 ddr)Mhz (mem). You can get even more if you are willing to play with the bios, look on www.guru3d.com for the radedit, and then you can change the memory CAS timing to 1 for some more memory overclock.

what program can i use to overlock...ragetweak3d doesnt seem to work, i OCd the core 50 mhz and the memory 30 mhz...not one bit of a difference in 3dmark01, i keep getting around 10,600

try it in aquamark and other programs. You could also try regedit and do it via BIOS or radlinker (http://www28.brinkster.com/chrisww1942/)
