Hi..

Im thinking of buying a new graphic card and i was looking at 9800Pro and 9600Pro and 9500Pro...

The 9800Pro is already ordered for my first computer but i found some Specs and tests between the 9600 and the 9500...
The tests shows that the 9500 has better FPS than the 9600...
is this just me or is the 9500 better in perf than the 9600?

buy 9600 pro its better, newer and its with DX9. when u OC 9600 pro (500/324) u gut 20% more (without adding cooling devices).

Thats because its discontinued.

I'd go for the 9500 Pro, I've seen benchmarks of it performing better.

since u guys are on the subject, im going to get my money back from bestbuy on a ps2, since i NEVER use it, so ill get 300 dollars, whoop!
i might only get 200, says the father, but i dont believe him, but im planning to get a video card with it, say the 9600pro 128mb, because its 200 bucks retail from bestbuy, how much of an increase will it be from my gf4 ti4600?, also... if i get 300, what other card do u suggest? " this is going american money, for retail prices :/ since i will get bestbuy credit

HAHA u make me laugh, prices take forever to go down in stores/retail, i wish they had the XT version, so i could alrdy have hl2 with it, id do that

sorry to dissapont you, but you won't get more than 100$ (and that's being generous) for returning a PS2.

im serious, best buy had a plan
that u get back all that u bought it for ( minus cost of plan ) i have the the thing with me, i just had to return in within 2 years (broken or new)
and tadah!

And that is exactly why he should go for a 9600XT, as it should be near 9700Pro performance. Only near though, those halfed pipes will limit it at high FSAA/AF and high resolution.

Maybe, but he should wait to see the benchmarks and see how they go up against each other. I really think that the 96XT should perform almost as well as a 97pro or else not as many people would buy them.
