Radeon 9800 XT

Hey recently I bought a Radeon 9800 XT thinkin it was the best card for HL2. Now I find out that the x800 pro is the best ati card and costs 100$ less! WTF! how good will my 9800 xt be? and why does it cost more if it doesnt perform as well? It even has the "perferred graphics for HL2" on it with a free voucher. how come the x800 doesnt have that? x800pro gives u 15 fps over that card

2) "prefered BS" just propaganda, but you do get a free copy of hl2!, hey!

3) we do not know why the x800 series costs cheaper than the 9800xt, i guess a buisness major could tell us why when the x800s came out, the 9800xts still stayed hte same price.

4) i suggest, u take that card back, get store credit, and buy the x800pro or x800xtpe.

Try the X800 Pro being twice as fast. And the XT-PE being over twice as fast.

damn thats crazy. But heres my situation. I bought the card on ebay for 270 and it has the free voucher, and the receipt with warrenty for 1 year with 6 months left. Do you think I could take it to compusa and ask for a replacement and they give me a new box unopened? and then try to trade it for the x800xtse which is at the same price of 500$? If that worked I would be hella happy.

So can I get some exact detials on how much better the x800 is better then the 9800xt. Are the graphics the same and the x800 is just 2 times faster? Wut else?

there are some reviews done, im to lazy to search for them at the review sites.

harocp, anadtec, tomshardware, they will show u that there is clearly a minimum of 10fps gain,
