My brother wants to buy the Radeon X800 XT but we can only find the X800 PRO. If any of you seen the price for the X800 XT..could you tell me please.. and also tell me if it's in American or Canadian money. Im from Canada so I would like Canadian money but if it's American money I can convert it to Canadian. Oh and if anyone is from Canada and if you have seen the Radeon X800 XT, could you tell me which stores had it. Thank you. I appriciate it.

The x800xt is currently VERY hard to find, as it is just breaking the market. IIRC, it's price is a bit below 700$ american.

wednesday is the expected release date. Wait till then.

Oh yeah. I used to have a Nvidia card and Now I'm moving to ATI for a change. Where can I download drivers for the card when I get it? Thanks.

:dozey: Here in America some retailer stores say that the X800 XT's should be shipping around this time, CompUSA says shipping tomorrow, July 6th. The lowest price find on the internet in American currency is about $430. In stores it is going to be $499.

The videocards should come with a CD with the drivers, but www.ati.com is where you download ATI drivers, official drivers that is.

:naughty: Well, if it's going to ship the 6th or 7th, how long will it take for the stores to receive? One week or so?

What are your system specs?

I'm building a new computer for this card..here are the specs...

CPU = 3200 Mhz

RAM = 1GB

Hard drive = 200GB

You guys are going to be suprised, how hard it is to find the new cards. So much demand, yet so little supply :-/

:hmph: lotta demand and little supply= HIGH PRICES!

Do you live in Edmonton, because that's where I live. Which store??
What a small world.
Ya I live in Edmonton. Bcom told me July 7 but I dont know if I would trust them seeing as how I went in the other day to buy a new Power Supply and I overheard one of the sales people teling a guy he couldnt get the athlon 3800 because the socket 939's werent released yet and they arent expecting them for two years. They litterally laughed at him. Bunch of Fags IMO. They already have the X800 pros and have had them for over a month and said they would probably have the X800 XT's by wednesday. I remeber when I checked about 3 weeks ago if they had them they said they did but they only recieved 9 of them and were selling them for $989!
If bcom doesnt have them yet you could probably check out www.ncix.com or compusmart. Ncix and compusmart have it listed on their websites.

Jeez, I spent $399 for mine at compusa. Damn that price is killer!

:hmph: You did not get an X800 XT for $399 or did you? CompUSA must have been incredibaly stupid to sell you THE XT for $399 which is the PRO's price.

I just looked on their site, the Pro is $399.

Gateway has a good price on an X800XT PE (USD). ;)
It's out of stock but will be shipping in the near future.

Thanks for Recommending Compusmart because I see it there for only $699 CANADIAN! That's really cheap.

Who said these parts would be cheap? High demand, low supply= expensive things. I thought you would've known that.
