does anyone have this card?....are your games smooth?....my games arent smoth at all...i get good framerates....i have a dell pentium 4....3.2 computer...1024 ram....dont know what kind of motherboard i have

Again I say, we need to know your video card to help you out at all.

As far as we know, you might not even be able to fit an x850 in that PC.

Yeh if you tell us your existing video card, it might give us a clue to what kind of mobo you have and then we will be able to tell you what your best option would be for an upgrade.

guys its a radeon x850 xt pe pci express video card....yes it fits in my computer...it wouldnt work if it couldnt....thats my existing card i have in there now...how come noone can see the video card that i have in the subject?....i can probably tell that none of u has 1...

sir i get good framerates....thats not my problem...i get 60 to with v synch enabled...its just game gets choppy at times

then something else in your pc is bottlenecking, most likely your hard drive, mem or cpu, depends if its a section with heavy physics calculations its your cpu, if its a change in scenery/loading new map from hdd its hdd, if your low on memory and get page faults where stuff ahs to be moved to page file then thats your problem

Well, i have an X850 XT PE PCI-e and it plays all my games perfectly on max settings. It must be something else in your system that is causing the slow down.

maybe ur talking about the choppiness when the game autosaves. If thats what ur talking about then all computers get that.

change your desktop refresh rate to 85 Hz or whatever and get 85 frames a second :P

what speed memory do you have?
do the games play choppy online (HL2DM CSS???)

his CPU shouldnt have a problem with calculating stuff, he shouldnt be low on memory either.
make sure you dont have loads of stuff running in the background

When I had Norton Security installed, mine would run choppy too. In fact the whole system ran like complete garbage - like I had an extremely bad virus!

Which kinda makes you wonder just what exactly is the point of it...

So yeah, turn off any security or virus stuff.
