Radeon9800pro 128bit or 256bit

anyone tell me whats the best card to buy 256bit or 128bit
i know the 256bit has got to be better but by how much.

Also has anyone got any screenshots of half-life2 on max settings useing a radeon9800pro. Please post if you have :hmph:

From what I understand, theres actually a slight preformance hit for the greater memory. I could be mistaken however. I'm quite happy with my 128mb card. Heres a couple screenshots of HL2 on my AIW 9800 Pro

I have an ATI built, 9800 PRO 128mg 256bit card.

Don't touch the 128bit card - it isn't truly a "PRO" version, even though some unscrupulous mfr's and retailers are trying to say it is.

The wider memory bandwidth is becoming more relevant as each day passes. All you have to do is to think about the fact that 512mg cards are only a couple of months away....

I run the game with all settings right to the roof - even AA and Anso. Just can't resisit the eye candy, even if it costs me some fps.
