Yet again I find myself with computer problems, and once more the fine patrons of HL2.net are my last resort (and likely my best).

Enough flattery. I am trying to do a fresh install of windows on a striped twin-80gig raid array, unused.

NOTE: motherboard = Nvidia nForce 3 250Gb chipset
Manufacturer and model = MSI K8N Neo (platinum edition)

The raid driver disk I recieved doesnt work (I want to make the drives bootable). The manual mentions copying the contents of "nVidia/system .../IDE/WinXP" from the CD onto a formatted disk as the answer. That would be my solution if I hadn't had my CD stolen from me. The nVidia and MSI websites offer no answers or remorse, can someone please help me.

P.S. I realise the irony of my signature...

Sorry, but if I downloaded a driver, could I use the files from "IDE/WinXP". Are they the same files, exactly.

Download the "Nvidia nForce3 SATA/RAID driver" from here and copy all the files from that zip file into a disk.
