Does anybody here play it?
I'm thinking of buying it on Steam since it's only $20... but I'd like to know if the multiplayer community is still thriving or not first.
So, if anybody has played it online for the PC recently, could you just let me know if there's still plenty of players?

Also, is the modding community active at all? And is the singleplayer actually fun and challenging?

I'm basically looking for an alternative to CoD4 since I'm a bit tired of playing it now, going to reinstall it when they release the next patch.

I played about a half-hour of the PC version singleplayer and found it even more dull than Gears of War and Gears of War bored me to tears.

I don't own it but I have tried it at my friends who has both and he really enjoys them but prefers the multiplayer (with bots though cos he can't play online as he downloaded them). He also prefers the first one as well.

I can't really give my opinion on it as I haven't tried enough of it but it was enjoyable from what I played :)

Oh yeah, that reminded me... my friend has both games at his house on his 360.

Hah, I could've just went over there tried them myself.

I was still half-asleep when I made this thread, mods can delete it. :P

I wish they would return to the realism they had in Ravensheld. 1 shot 1 kill...

Vegas 2's multiplayer is bugged to shit, is pretty much the general consensus amongst my peers.

So I went with the first, it still has quite a few servers too and plenty of players.

I have it but but not on Steam. Co-Op is great but there's barely any players anymore.
Purchase it if you're interested in the single player and it's storyline. If not, then get Vegas 2 instead.

I ended up going to Walmart to get some cough drops and strolled by the video game section.

Saw Star Wars : Empire at War Gold Pack(fully updated w/ Forces of Corruption along with a trial for SWG and extra maps for the games also comes with a Prima Strategy Guide for both games) for $19.82... nice deal I'd say, been playing for the past couple of hours now.
