What is the best RAM memory atm?

And, my PC is having serious probs, my HD is always working...even when im not running a program or something...its just ronking all the time...is it broken?

Best RAM at the moment price-to-performance-wise is probably DDR in a dual channel configuration...

Probably excessive fragmentation... that's the reason mine started doing that.

When was the last time you defragged?
