now is the max mhz for ddr 1 is 400mhz, is it? i have pc3200, and i may get pc 4000, but is says its 5533 mhz. i need and asus like definition

btw, imosting in geomtry class, on a laptop, while looking at porn, back of room
 
I wouldn't get anything better then pc3200 unless I was overclocking like a mad-man. It's just useless.

PC3200 DDR400 (200MHz) is the highest standard.
There are memory modules that are rated higher because they are able to run faster than 200MHz and these are marketed toward OCers. In order to run these modules faster than 200MHz, you need to OC. :O

If you actually are OCing, do a little research because PC3200 with good/low timings can sometimes OC and perform better than higher rated memory which even costs more most of the time.
