OK, so i've had my comp for a month or so now, it's nice, has the basic setup covered, especially with the soundcard i bought for it - but today i open it up to see what the possibilities are for adding a second HDD/DVD drive and i notice that the RAM is PC2700, not PC3200 which i was told would be in it - how much am i losing out in terms of performance on this, is it worth kicking up a fuss about? at the moment i'm not too happy

well yea if you were supposed to get it i reckon you do something about it

thats true, it's just the hassle really, if the performance gain is neglible then i dunno, TBH i'm a bit pissed off since the rest of the comp is great

if you paid for pc3200 and got pc2700..... i say, go kill some salesmen!

*bump in disguise*

just checked my FSB, it's running at 200MHz - AFAIK that means it should run better on DDR400 (PC3200) RAM - am i going the right direction here?
