RAM speeds

i have a 3200+ athlon 64 and a Geforce 6800 Ultra. I only have 512Mb of ram and the speed it is at is PC3200. Will this slow down my games. i can only get arounds 6000 in 3DMark 2003 wen i really should be getting something around 11,000

get another 512 mb of ram ram is very important i had 256 and upgraded to 768 and wow the games ran way more smoother

Only 6000? With your processor and card, there's no way that's all you can be getting. Your ram speed is fine, pc3200 is the fastest there is besides expensive overclocking ram, everyone uses pc3200. 512 ram is fine, upgrade to 1GB and you'll have everything you need, but your ram shouldn't be bringing you down. Update your drivers, did you make sure you removed all your previous video card's drivers before you installed the Ultra? Download a driver cleaner, run it, then download the latest drivers from Nvidia.
