My used the computer, and the problems started.
All games crash - Counterstrike after about 10 minutes, straight to the desktop in like a second. Starwars Battlefront after about 5 minutes, gets an ugly BSOD and reboots etc.
While browsing, or using word, or just doing stuff on the computer (moving files, using network etc) the computer will suddenly give me a BSOD and restart .. no errors or anyting.
He claims all he installed was Starcraft [And broodware] and they have both been removed, but the problem is there. I'm guessing during installation they copied some files over some system critical ones and .. did bad stuff :X
Specs:
Win XP Pro SP2 - I've tried uninstalling SP2 but I still have the problems.
AMD XP 3200+
512 GEiL DDR (400mhz)
80 SATA Western Digital /w 8 MB cache
GeCube 9800 XT 128 mb /w Catalyst 4.10
anyone have an idea ? i don't want to format, again.
