Hey guys! first post... amazing. I know.

Well on friday or so I started to experience these random crashes and sometimes CS:S would crash to desktop with a looping sound. this is after joining a game and choosing a team. now half the time I can't even ENTER a server and the other half I choose a team, play for 30 secs and it boots me either to the menu or to desktop. When it boots me to the desktop it loops sounds, whereas with the menu there are no looped sounds. I check my console all the time and it always says:

missing client entity 145

or some other 3 character combination of numbers. I checked steampowered.com and found this:

http://steampowered.custhelp.com/cg...HNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD0yNzQmcF9wYWdlPTE*&p_li=

So far I have:

1. Reinstalled my sound blaster live value card to the top pci slot as it suggests

2. Changed dxdiag hardware acceleration sound settings to none, basic and full

3. Uninstalled k-lite codec pack

What I haven't done:

1. Reinstalled CS:S

2. Tried turning off the sound in console

3. Turned off a3d and eax - I can't find these options in the audio tab of CS:S.

Right now I'm going to go turn off the sound and see what happens there.

ANY help would be really appreciated!!!

Thanks

Matt.
