Random Disconnections with...

Aol Instant Messenger..

I am using wireless connection although it should not matter for AOL 's random disconnections it looks like it does. Most of the time I have a solid connection and randomly(I mean like every 20 min-1 hour, etc.) it disconnects. I do not know what the problem is. Is there a specific port I have to put my aol on or what?

Please help as it gets annoying while I am talking to my friends and BOOM disconnection. Thanks.

My only idea would be to uninstall the one you got now and give yourself a new installation it may help, but then agian i've never had that problem, give it a try though see if it works. Good Luck.

1. Do you have wireless phones in the house ?
2. Do you have a microfilter for your phone line (ADSL) ?

Every phone in my house is wireless and are also using filters on them.

Nothing else disconnects, but everytime aol does it comes up saying connection interrupted and then it takes a minute and it reconnects.
