Random Disconnections?

Lately, I have been having this odd problem where my internet disconnects for no reason. I have Verizon Online DSL. I have yet to call Verizon because I figured it wasn't too big of a deal. I know my disconnections are not caused in a game of some sort because I just got one while typing this. I mean it happens every so often like lets say every 30 minutes, but its very random. It will disconnect in 2 hours then d.c every 45 minutes. I have no idea what the problem is. Can someone please help?

Wireless routers can cause this problem, my brother had one connected from the main router, and whenever his disconnected (every 30 minutes) everyone elses would... Do you have any sort of router?

If you do, try connecting directly to your computer, and see if it still crashes, then the router is the problem

I think I figured out the problem. I have a router but that was not it.

My Verizon DSL needs phones that are plugged in to the phone line outlets need to have DSL Filters. One phone that was plugged in without the filter caused the disconnects.
