Random Scars

Hey all

This is something I've been wondering about for some time. About three years ago i noticed that I had about 3, 15cm long red scars going across my back all in the same direction. I have absolutely no recollection of ever getting these scars, and no I am not a victim of abuse

I can't even remember being cut, or whipped or anything like that in the time period that they appeared, it's really strange.

Anyone have any similar experiences? Or know what causes these?

A friend of mine has them, and I don't think he's been whipped either, it's probably some sort of perfectly natural skin disease.

They're stretch marks. You don't have to be fat to have them, sometimes they come from a growth spurt or something.

yeah it's probably that, i used to be pretty fat, and now I'm really thin and tall, and i have marks like that for around 2 years now
but not on my back though

well, mine are a lot smaller, those are pretty damn scary

Edit #2: Phobie said "growth spurt" which now makes a lot of sense to me.
I did shoot up epicly in the last couple of years

That's just what they look like, except my skin has never stretched, I've always been quite skinny. Unless it's just a growing thing.

It's often due to a growing thing. Particularly if you do so quite quickly. It often occurs on women who suddenly sprout large chests.

Well considering the thread's served its purpose, I think we should.

I've got many scars. I've only ever counted them all once or twice. The most interesting is probably the one under my chin. It seems everyone's got a scar under their chin, but I bet they didn't fall out of the shower backwards to get theirs.

The only other scar I have that is noticeable sometimes is a line through my eyebrow where hair doesn't grow.

I've got four small scars on my left knee from an operation. Two of them have faded quite a lot but the other two are very vivid. Also if I press on one of them my leg feels quite numb; I think the surgeons must have hit a nerve by accident during surgery.

Edit: Also, Seppo, we really don't wanna know how you got those scars so please don't tell us, and if you have you tell someone, please PM them because I'm sure we don't all want to know.

The most fun scar I have is on my right butt cheek. When I was like 5, I was looking for some clothes, so I reached down the bottom of my clothes drawer and burned my ass with the heater behind me.

On a related note, for some reason when I was younger than 5 I engaged in a strange ritual which involved me kissing the tiled floor. When I was going to kiss the floor once more, I fell and busted my upper lip, leaving a lowercase H shaped scar on the space between the upper lip and nose.
