Ranked Servers

How come more servers arnt Ranked? Is there a special requirement for this?

Well, the spawn times have to be 15 seconds, weapon unlocks are not allowed to give a level playing field, and the ticket ratios are 100%, 3 rounds a map, etc.

Wait, so you have to play on a ranked server to get the unlocks, but you have to play on an unranked server to use them??

That's incorrect. I've played on Rank servers using my unlocked weapons all the time. EA's servers especially.

yeah, the unlocks are FOR ranked servers. most of the time.. the unranked disallow the use of unlocked weapons.

although Ranked servers have some rules. such as auto punishing TKs
that is not the reason there aren't more.
Ranked servers are very heavily admined and observed to make sure there is no cheating the system.
ranked servers have to be Leased from EA. period. this is to ensure that the process is as fair and regulated as possible.

everyone would be running a ranked server if they were able to, but non EA servers are not able to be ranked.
this is a good thing however, it ensures that there is no messing about, or clans getting uber awesome ratings on their own private servers.

Yeah...the lag kills me cuz my computer can barely handle a 32-plr server...

I didn't know that was the case, but I still don't want to be bound by 15-second spawn times.

Just give it awhile, maybe a month, then only the serious players will remain, and the game will be balanced. Servers will not lag, there will be peace within the game.

that's why you get into a squad with a medic... if you had no spawn time the class would be useless (for the most part) because you couldn't revive anyone.
the default 15 second respawn time is for gameplay.
