There seems to be quite a few demo's out atm but I don't have the time to play or download all of them. So rate these recent demo's out of 10 (10 being the best etc) and I will download the most popular one

Played the first two:

CoD 4 is really good, but Timeshift was pretty boring for me...

Timeshift was pretty interesting, but wasn't my style of play.

CoD4 is going to be a pickup after hearing some reviews of the multiplayer.

UT3 will be a buy after the price drops. It's fun but not worth 60 dollars to me at this point.

Agree. I literally played a CTF map for 30 minutes with bots at a total stalemate, 0-0, till at the end I made it with my hoverboard..
win. Deathmatches are awesome.

UT3 is a definite buy, and Timeshift I liked, but I'm waiting on a review to buy it, and I think you should too.

As for FEAR and Jericho, I don't think I'll bother.

I never got into the UT-franchise. Unless UT3 really has some solid singleplayer I don't see myself picking it up.

There is a 'Campaign' mode, but I don't know if it'll be like Gears of War story mode or UT get-up-the-ranks-of-a-tournament 'story' mode.

SUper cool, the performance on high maximum settings is amazing, i thought this is going to run like shit on my pc, ****ing ace.

It'll be a 10/10 once they fix the damn server browser.

But from what I've played with bots and on a couple of lagtastic servers, I had a blast.
I'm still awestruck that it runs so beautifully, Bioshock ran a little choppy for me... but with UT3 I experience no stuttering at all.
It runs just like UT2004 for me.

Jericho - 6/10...
It was really fun up until that lame DDR-button-mash-crap.
Beautiful graphics, alright sound, and passable voice work.

Call of Duty 4 - 7/10...
Meh... feels like a total conversion for CoD2.
And there's so many illogicalities in it.

Who the hell sends 300 men to secure an M1A2 in the middle of the damn country?
In Iraq atm, the biggest firefights usually consist of 6 or 10 men on each side, there's never incredibly large scale zerg rushes or anything.
But, I guess for the sake of gameplay they had to pump it up a bit.

Graphics are great, I can play it maxed @ 1280x1024.

Yeah it (COD4) really seems to be kind of a distasteful glorification of the Iraq war. I'll probably buy the game for the MP - but I have to say the storyline seems to be a ridiculous and out of place representation of any type of U.S. lead military action in the middle east (not that the reality would be much fun in video game form anyways) - but this is almost too much.

I like the QTEs (Quick Time Events).. They add an extra element to the overall gameplay, and the way it was implemented just feels like it works. So, rather than just showing you a non-interactive cut-scene, you actually have to think fast or suffer.

Yeah, Call of Duty 4 is really a "We made it for the console, let's try to make it for PC." 7 for Call of Duty 4 indeed. Jericho: 6 is also a very fitting rating. UT2007 demo... Haven't tried it.

I played the Timeshift demo when it was on Live. It's bad and boring, another gray worn-torn fps with a gimmick that just makes FPS esier for the sake of console players.

Jericho is also not worth it. Avarge minus. The combat totally suck, so does the psyhics. The QTE was actually the best part in the demo.

COD4 hmm. I think i played MOH:A too much. I was looking for a cover system and the grenade indicator actually flashing red to let me know i'm too close. It seems the regular gameplay of COD for good and for worst. The new setting might help stuff but i get the impression of an 8 game, at least the SP part.

UT3 is UT. Fun deathmatch. I think i'm spoiled by TF2. I'm not feeling the design and lack of colour too much and from the not much that i played, it doesn't seem to add too much new stuff.
The server browser indeed sucks, though.

About the gfx of COD4 and UT3, they really don't look special tbh. Maybe it's because the limited deatil in the demo. I don't think my card (X1950 pro) is the source.

Clive Barker's Jericho - Shitty. Didnt like the way the game worked, not my thing.
Fear perseus mandate - ****ING HORRIBLE! I will end up buying it later on anyway just to see where they take this shitty expansion. Im waiting on Project Origin thats going to be kickass!
UT3 - Good i guess, im getting it but i just dont know.
