I don't know if anyone else has thought of this, but what did the Ratman draw with? It's in red, but there's not very many red things in the game. Is it drawn in blood, maybe?:x

I assumed a previous test subject who couldn't find a way by hid back there and GLaDOS supplied him/her with food and water to keep the test going.

I don't recall Glados promising food and water.

I was more curious as to how one of the test subjects found DOZENS of photos of the Companion cube and other various photos of people, including a Calender.

Maybe they had a camera with them that was Stolen from one of the offices or something along those lines.

Perhaps original test subjects were treated differently, being given food and water and maybe a satchel to carry a couple of things in. Y'know, back when there may have been actual human workers in the building. Then, as Chell, you're given to Glados' sadistic hands.

which drawings do you mean?

The drawings in the Secret Room in Test Chamber 16. Where there is 2 turrets, and a glass barrier, and behind you is a pushed out section of a wall, with two cubes stuck in between it. Also, on the ground it says HELP.
