Raven Shield or Swat 4

I've had a hankering for some coop gaming lately and I need some opinions on which game to buy. My friend and I both love tactical FPS games, and have been fans of the Rainbow Six series since the first game. I've narrowed it down to either Raven Shield or Swat 4, and I've only played the demo of each game so far. There's certain aspects I like and dislike about each game, but I was wondering which one, in your opinion, would be a better choice.

Then again... I hear that they are revamping Rainbow Six: Lockdown specifically for PC players like myself. If Lockdown loses its console-itis in the process, then I would definitely consider buying that instead (I heard it's pretty bad in its current console state).

So anyways, enough blabbering. Any input from people who have played either game is appreciated. Thanks in advance for making my decisions for me

SWAT 4 has a lot more to it than just running around killing baddies in one shot. Sometimes you have to kill or incapacitate them before they panic and execute a hostage. In some levels, you don't know if they're a bad guy until they pull out their gun and try to shoot you. I would get SWAT 4. They are both pretty cheap now, just get both.

Raven Shield had way to many controls for me. I'd personally go for Swat 4

RvS for me. That game was the end all of tactical shooters. It was a game that definitely promoted teamplay otherwise you would die very quickly. Dammit. This thread is making me wanna play RvS again...

Raven Shield beats the shit out of SWAT 4.

Hmm this is a tough one, I loved RS and just bought SWAT 4 and I'm loving it too. I'd say RS if you're more interested in the singleplayer, and SWAT 4 if you're more into multiplayer. Both games are amazing either way.

meh i dont really like lockdown. its gets rid of the old "rainbow six feel" with the crappy death metal music, more arcadey and unrealistic gameplay, and the GRAPHICS are CARTOONISH.

Raven shield thumbs up, I mean come on it has 84 GUNS! lockdown has ONLY 28 thats more of a DOWNGRADE

Raven Shield is much more fun in co-op than Swat 4 imo. I have played both games in co-op with my brother and I personally liked RS better.

Although the Single player in Swat 4 is somewhat better than RS, but that’s mostly for the AI on your team mates. The missions are better and feel more natural, and it's not really so much slaughter in S4 like in RS.

But I would go for Raven Shield.

Oh, the M249 in RS are so damn frightening.
