I doubt this will catch on, but it's interesting nonetheless. I don't think I want to be gaming on a 10-inch screen, using a keyboard with such big keys (at least it seems to me that they are big).

BTW, isn't the "for gamers, by gamers" slogan a rip-off of Interplay's?

I don't see the appeal of such a keyboard or all the "gamer keyboards", or the special edition keyboards with labeled keys for specific games.

I think it's unnecessary - I bind my keys, memorize them in a few minutes if the control scheme is complicated (and 90% of the time it isn't) and have no need for looking at the keyboard anymore.

The changing keys are pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it would be worth buying over a regular laptop. Could be good for playing WoW on though, I'm interested in how much it will retail for.

You were probably thinking of the 15" Sony OLED TV, which sounds about right on the mark when you said $10,000. I'm sure the keyboard was about $150-$200

Yup! The Optimus. When Tech-E-Blog first reported it they estimated an MSRP of ten grand, so I was pretty far off on price... but $1,500 is till very, very steep.

Everything about the video was ridiculous. The presentation, the dialog, everything.

Changing key layouts is stupid. I have a Zboard keyboard, and the first thing I did when I got it was throw away the stupid "gamer" layout. This is even dumber. It doesn't even change the position of the keys, just what they do, which you can do in every single pc game in the world, regardless of what keyboard you're using. Lame idea.
