New Mexico government proposing the raising of a Mexican town to the Chihuahuan goverenment. Normally I don't agree with Bill Richardson but at least he is trying now, the declaration of a state of emergency was a good step.

Thousands of illegals are coming in a day. I really doubt the taking away of this one outpost is going to make a huge dent, or if it'll even go through in the first place, the big story here, is that the Mexican governors are speaking with the American Southwest governors on the problem, and that's a big deal.
 
:dork: Raising a town there seems like it would encourage that sort of thing, razing it might be more, eh, constructive? Constructive destruction?
 
I meant to say razing in my original post. Hehe. That's what they're doing.

Hopefully it will decrease illegal crossings in that area of the border.
 
Hmmm, i fail to see what effect this would have on boarder crossing.
 
We just need to close them -- and change our policies. ... and White People just need to stop fearing the damn heat! ... and toilets! I used to be a Lifeguard and I had to clean toilets ... its not a big deal.
