Real hack problem not just speedhack

I don't know if something like this has been posted before but today I came across someone actually hacking not just speed hacking.

These demos are annoying and hard to watch but you'll see this guy owning everyone with hacks.

The website that he keeps advertising (*****) just has hacks and bug exploits for source and I think that if this spreads then cs:s could become very annoying and boring.

You should be able to get it from that link, otherwise I'll re-up it

'gameinfo.txt does not exsist in the hl2 folder'

Thats wierd but I dont have that file in my hl2 folder either

The hacker3.dem file should be unzipped into
DIRECTORY:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\USERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike

Then in console enter: playdemo hacker3

Hope that helps

Just play on good servers with admins where you know the people. I have only seen one speedhack so far.

Stick to servers that are large, and well managed, eg, ISP owned ones, or servers that have people you know in them (forum based, admins etc)... the crappy clan-owned ones and small ones are just a waste of time in most cases

If you got his steam ID with that demo you could have sent it to VALVe who would have subsequently banned his steam account...

No, valve only uses VAC. It would be far too easy to fake a demo and get anyone banned.

I wouldnt be suprised if the site he is spamming contains files with trojans in them, to steal someone's Steam Account, then use that account to hack on. It's a real shame that people think it's fun to cheat in an online game.

Sigh.

Yeah krig, I wouldn't doubt it. As for servers I usually play on clan servers that have low amounts of people and have a few members playing on the server and phxx.net or gamerscoalition since there is usually an admin in these types of servers.

I was just suprised to see someone actually hacking when there is all this debate about whether or not speedhacks or the only hacks.

Damn, that is some crazy shit. I hate how people have to ruin the game with hacking. :(

What the servers need is a command that would allow players (not just admins) to kick people from the server, but would requre a check so it isnt abused.

I've been on servers where a vote for kicking a player has come up but that might be a server mod or initiated by an admin or something like that. But there should def some kind of player initiated version for both afkers, tkers and hackers

Is the screen supposed to be repeatedly shaking? Because I don't see how you can play in conditions like that.

Actually I know *****. They're the most famous cheat clan in CS. They're also the others of the "I hate yuo *****" cartoon everyone loves. I do believe they are real hacks on they're site.

I always play in the same, forum based server. I have never had problems.

I find that
#1 Not enough people vote to kick
#2 If a reason isn't given, good luck getting votes
#3 One of the teams won't vote to kick a cheater/tker
-Why would I kick a TKer on the other team? They're helping me!
-Why would I kick a cheater on my team? They're helping me!
#4 I don't know what the default is, but it seems to take far too many votes to kick someone.

That said, I've gotten to where now I'll just vote yes to kick anyone that has a vote brought up to kick them. But then I've accidentally shot a teammate, and they bring up a vote to kick me.
