Realistic Games?

Looking at my game collection I realize that my favorite games are always the most realistic ones, SWAT 4, Sniper Elite, Penumbra (not the infected and stuff, but the game world other then the infected). I even have literally hundreds of mods for Morrowind that add realism, such as the need to drink/eat/sleep/etc. (although you don't have to eat/drink all the time, like once every 24 hours, and I have a mod that makes time twice as long in Morrowind)

So, anyone know of any realistic games for me to try out?

Also - rather then starting a new thread for this small question, anyone know of any good Castlevania games? I want to play SOTN, but I've played and beaten it a million times, I want more!

Well I suppose operation flashpoint and arma come to mind. Also both of their sequels will be coming out in the next year.

Oh come on, EVERYONE has played Operation Flashpoint.

If you have Battlefield 2... check out Project Reality.
Most popular mod for the game and is insanely realistic.

Flight Simulator X

Probably Nexus too. Though the game itself is a space RTS, the universe contains realism for the early section of the game; a cargo trip from Earth to a station orbiting Jupiter takes about 3 months, ships also require forward thrusters to slow the damn things down and earlier ships require centrifugal constructs for comfortable human operations

Nexus is a buggy piece of crap, it's basically a single player EVE Online.

The mods for it are pretty cool though.

If we're going for vehicle simulations too...

Check out Silent Hunter 3/4 for a submarine sim and...
Rigs of Rods... Basically a free truck, car, airplane, and boat simulator.
What makes RoR different to most simulators is its unique soft-body physics: vehicles chassis and wheels are simulated in real-time as flexible objects, giving the simulation an extremely accurate behavior, while allowing the vehicles to be simply specified by their structural composition, as a network of interconnected nodes (forming the chassis and the wheels). Crashing into walls or terrain can permanently deform a vehicle in a realistic manner. In addition to its unique soft-body physics, RoR also features an advanced flight model based on blade element theory, allowing the accurate simulation of any airplane, base on their physical dimensions and wing airfoils. It also features an accurate buoyancy model based on elemental pressure gradients, enabling boats with complex hulls to move realistically in the swell.

Falcon 4.0
Lock On
Long Range shooting Simulator

Silent Hunter 3 or 4. Both great submarine sims. The 4th outing has flashier graphics and more developed gameplay, but the third rules because of the setting. If you have seen and liked the movie Das Boot (see it if you haven't already: IMDB), you'll love it.

Project Reality. Play this game/mod now.

I'm thinking about installing BF2 again and downloading Project Reality. Are there many servers running it?

There's probably around 30 servers at any given time.
