I turned on my PC today, and got an alert for a virus. Ran my Ad-Aware to help it out, but the pop-ups are pretty bad. Scams for another virus software (trojan) and random quiz pop-ups. Plus a fake Windows message thats written with Engrish. Went to my AVG to get rid of it but all of the AVG files have been infected.

OH GOD what do I do?

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT PORNO.ORG IS!!?!?!!!?

That seems like a fairly full on infection and I would recommend you format your HDD and install windows fresh. Sure you could attempt to clean it up but I'm certain that kind of scale of infection will always come back.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to back up any files on that PC for the fear they could be infected too.

Google how to format your HDD for your operating system. If you have a windows disc you can reinstall from that, or you might have a recovery partition on your HDD which you can use to reinstall windows back to factory settings for your PC / laptop.

Just brought the PC back to original spec, now the fun part of passwords begins!

I would've recommended doing scans in safe mode. I've gotten rid of nasty shit that way. Reformat is a real last resort.
