Recent Application Error

Yes I know, yet another one but I find this really weird. When I start Counter-Strike: Source and other Half-Life (2) game it comes up with:

'The Instruction at 0x####### referenced memory at 0x#######. The memory could not be 'read'

The menu doesn't even come up, this error comes up straight away. This only happened today suspiciously after an update took place on all of the Half-Life games.

I've tried all of the answers on support (support.steampowered.com) at the Steam Website and they don't help, I was hoping some one may have experience with the problem and how to fix it on this forum, if not I'll send a ticket.

So any ideas?

Read through all that. There are loads of ideas and answers for HL2 and CS:S alike in there.

I've read through and nothing there is helping me. I believe it's the Counter-Strike: Source update made today. Click here to see.

UPDATE: Counter-Strike is the only effected game. I'm sending a ticket support to Steam.
