Recommend me a movie to watch today, could be anything =)

Fight Club
Somebody Up There Likes Me
The Punisher
Stander
Heat
Team America
Star Wars Episodes IV, V and VI
Anchorman
Terminator
Terminator 2
Rush Hour

Aaaaand that's all I can think of from some of my home collection.

Date Movie LOLOLOLOLOL

No, really - Der Untergang (aka Downfall)

Jacob's Ladder - too awesome to describe, just watch it :)

You can't be on this board and not have someone already recommend you Serenity, so I'll go with an old action classic and say True Lies.

Haha True Lies, the only Arnold movie that I really like is Terminator 2. Used to like him in all movies when I was younger but he's just too much :D

I never bothered to wath Serenity to the end, was to bored :/

Anyway, the movies you guys recommended are movies that I reall don't want to watch atm, I recommend myself E.T :D

Best movie of all times I think that I just watched the other day. Stephen King. The storm of the century. It is soooo good!
Other good movies:
National Treasure
Deep Blue See
The Day After Tomorrow
(Best movie out of this list in my mind is The Day After Tomorrow)

dont watch the politically correct post 9/11 version where the FBI's guns magically transform into walkie-talkies

Switchblade Romance (known as High Tension in the US)
The Descent

I like the music ..it's one of my favourite soundtracks ...sure it's a bit dated (80's music) but few movies age gracefully

FFS, It was 6-6-06...

And nobody recommended...

The Omen(1976 one, the new one sucks.)
The Ninth Gate
Hellraiser
Constantine
The Exorcist
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Rosemary's Baby
From Hell
Sleepy Hollow
Session 9
May
The Amityville Horror(Old + 2005)

That should fill your hellish-horror quota n_n

Constantine PETER STORMARE HELL YEAH!

The Exorcist- zzzzzz

From Hell-Was it the one about Jack the ripper?

Sleepy Hollow-just okay.

Id say go watch Blade runner. It rocks.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083658/
Just look at the story! It's a great film. To short imo. It could have been more developed i think.

Geez Blade Runner seems to be quite popular at this forum.

I have yet to see it D:
I've seen bits and pieces, but that's it.

edit : Yes, From Hell was the Jack the Ripper flick.

And, Constantine was mediocre as a Hellblazer movie... but it was a fun action flick.

Exorcist is a horror-movie classic, do not diss it. D:

Sleepy Hollow, was just ****ed up... and I like ****ed up movies :D

Yeah i looked at previous posts and saw that someone else had recommend it.

Blade Runner is a visually awe inspiring film with many philosophical themes.

And a perfect blend of science fiction and noir :D

Proof

As much as I hate to admit it, most Australian movies suck, with the exception of Rabbit Proof Fence and some others, but this one really is a great movie with a really original (I think) plot. It's got Hugo Weaving (out of the Matrix) playing the main character. Russel Crowe is in it as well.

Wasabi
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Buffalo Soldiers
Die Hard 1 or 2
Bob Dylan: No Direction Home
The Godfather movies (not #3)
American Psycho
Wonderland
The Saint

God, You actually liked the 3rd one?
It had such a horribly flimsy story... it basically shat on the other two.

Oh, the third one was the better one, I thought #2 was "With a Vengeance"
