Recommendations

Wanna build a new comp. My old one just isn't cutting it anymore. I want something fast and will let me run everything on max on most games. Looking to buy a 22 inch wide screen too so i want something that will handle that.

I want to do all this and make it CHEAP as possible. But something that will Last.

Heres what I got:
MSI Mobo with a 700 pin 3200 processor
Radeon 9800 128 meg
768 megs of Ram
160 HD ATA

Whats gonna gimme a bang for my buck? I really dont wanna go over $1k but probably will have to if I'm looking at getting 2 gigs of ram. Don't include the monitor im looking at in the price.

CS Source
DoD S
BF2142
Oblivion
UT2007
Quake Wars

Any hardware recommendations along with prices would be great :naughty:

well you can get a good system for under 1k, but not if you want that monitor.


viewsonic makes a nice 22" vx2235.

haven't been looking at prices much latly so im not going to be much help
