Recovering deleted files

Are there any good programs you guys know of out there that can recover lost data?

I accidentally deleted an entire folder that I need. I didn't just send it to the recycling bin, I hit the delete key.

Using delete is supposed to send it to the recycling bin. Unless you changed something or used shift-delete.
