Red dots on the screen

Hey. Sometimes after my computer has been on for a little while, these little red dots, the size of a pixel appear on the screen. I'm pretty sure it isn't dead pixels, but I could be wrong.

Any ideas?

I have a permanent red one, technically they're not dead pixels; more of a static dead pixel (Common in old LCD's). But if you do see them, I'd advise you to turn of your monitor before they're burned into you're screen D:

Stuck pixel - Pixel stuck on one colour.
Dead pixel - Black.

There are many ways to cure stuck pixels so I suggest you do some googling.

They're stuck on red, and when I move the screen via mousewheel, they kinda drag along. But they only appear at some times.
