Would Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 work on my PC?

Core 2 Duo E6300
GeForce 7300LE
512mb DDR2
20" Widescreen monitor (1680x1050)

I have no games to play except Half-Life and Counter-Strike but they're no fun anymore, I am going to upgrade my PC to X1900XT, 2GB DDR2 when time comes but I just can't afford it atm.

matey u need another stick of ram 512MB and ur laughing thereafter ur PC will play any game u throw at it.

512mb should be fine for RO. It's only based on the UT2004 engine.

I don't know how fast an E6300 or a 7300LE is.

it may be fien for the game, but how many processes do ye lad have running in the background on windows?

I don't know shit about your proccessor, but you should be fine.
A ram upgrade would work wonders though.

Pretty sure RO would work on your comp, like someone earlier said, the game's based on UT2k4 engine so there's almost no way your comp can't handle it. The increased ram would likely speed up whatever load times there are though, but the rest of your comp *should* easily handle whatever RO throws at you.

I'm sure I can play it at resolutions like 800x600 but UT2003 runs really slow on 1680x1050

That's why CRT ftw! You can change resolutions without making it look crappy on the monitor.

mmmm yes jaggies.....that just wont look crappy. also i though red orchestra was a source game.

It's on steam but not using the source engine. I'm pretty sure it was out long before it was on steam.

Every time I read the title of this thread I think of that virus scan ad...

"teh red orchestraz? on MY pcz?

Your processor is holding you back. Send it to me and I will exchange it for a different one.

Your processor is pretty good, the graphics card should also be enough to run the game in 1024x768 without antialiasing and maybe with some details turned down a bit. Also, I don't think 512MB of RAM will be enough, games today are pretty memory consuming, even when they look like sh*t ;)

I only have 512 megs of ram, but I can run any game perfectly good (except G.R.A.W., it runs and looks great, but I can't aim because of a glitch caused by having 512...), including RO on highest settings.
